Dazzling
silver perfume
I've
been stuck in a rut fragrance-wise for way too long.
I had recently sniffed a sample of the Dazzling silver
perfume from a magazine, and decided to treat myself
to something special, while I was ordering a few other
products. I chose the Dazzling silver perfume, which
came in a gift set along with the body lotion. My personal
preference is spray perfumes, just because they are
easy to apply, with no dripping or dabbing. When my
husband took a whiff from the bottle, he said, oh, it
smells like roses. And I have to agree, that smelling
this Dazzling silver perfume from the bottle does elicit
a sense of roses. But after applying it to your skin
and letting it warm and develop, the scent changes,
deepens, and brings out the ginger and magnolia. I do
not think of roses when I'm wearing this perfume. I
would say that this perfume would fall into the flowery
category, although it is not super sweet or heavy. It
has a light, airy, clean fragrance that is not at all
over powering. Well, unless you bathed in it. This is
perfect for daytime wear. I find it uplifting yet with
a sense of calm.
I've
noticed that the Dazzling silver perfume scent does
not go sour, or smell "old" after a long day.
The scent will fade, as this is not a strong perfume,
but the fragrance that is left is still true. The Dazzling
silver perfume comes in a 1.7 fl. oz. clear glass bottle.
The bottle is square shaped, and quite flat. The cap
is silver-toned, and pulls off to reveal the pushdown
spray button. The spray works just great, and you can
direct the perfume exactly where you want it. The perfume
is a pastel pink, and the color shows through the bottle.
It's a pretty bottle, but I must confess I'm not particularly
attracted to the square shape.
The
1.7 oz. spray is about $47.50. Also available is the
3.4 fl. oz. for $62.50. Or, you can save a little by
purchasing a gift set, for instance the Merry Miracles

Dazzling silver perfume. It is a light fragrance that
doesn't go sour by the end of the day, or night. Since
it is so light, it's perfect for layering with body
lotion or shower gel. I find it a delightful scent,
suitable for day or evening. Be sure to test it on your
skin before you decide to buy, as the scent is quite
different after it warms and develops. What you smell
from the bottle is not what it smells like on your skin,
at least in my case. I believe that Dazzling silver
perfume would probably tend to appeal more to the older
generation, simply because of the flowery notes. If
you're testing perfumes, try sprit zing a little into
the palm of your hand. That's where there are lots of
sweat glands. Rub your hands together to warm up the
fragrance, let a few minutes go by, then sniff.
