Design Perfume

People seem to have very personal opinions about perfume. Some people love it, some are put off by it, but I think we can safely say, most of us have an opinion/feeling about it. I remember first wearing perfumes in my early 20's. The first perfumes I wore were Chanel #5 and Chantilly. My preferences tend to run to the fresh and lightly flowery rather than overwhelming, heavy type perfumes. I will not leave the house to even walk the dogs without some sort of cologne or perfume applied lightly. The Design perfume is classified as a refreshing, woody, arid fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of fresh floral jasmine, scents of sandalwood & vanilla. The Design perfume is recommended for daytime. Perfume is the accessory that goes with any outfit, but like any cosmetic, it has to be used properly to get the right effect.

Don't apply the Design perfume fragrance directly from the bottle with your fingers. Oil from your skin will enter the bottle and adversely affect the fragrance. Use an atomizer or apply fragrance to a cotton ball and then apply to your skin. When applying fragrance, spray fragrance from the ankles up. Remember, fragrance always rises! Also remember the golden rule of perfume - spray sparingly. You can always add more, but if you go overboard and spray too much a shower is just about the only thing that will get rid of it. Try to keep the Design perfume off your clothing. Apply the perfume only on the skin where it has a chance to develop and mellow. Also, bear in mind that perfume can stain some delicate fabrics, especially silk, so it's best to apply your perfume before you dress.

Don't buy a fragrance just because it smells good on a friend. A fragrance is as individual as you are and will smell differently as it reacts with your own chemistry. When shopping for a fragrance try not to sample more than three fragrances at a time, after that your nose can no longer distinguish the scents. Try smelling the coffee beans that are on the fragrance counter in most department stores between samplings. The beans help to "cleanse the palate" and will allow you to try more perfumes (that's what they're there for). Protect the Design perfume from heat and light to prolong its scent -- store it in the bathroom cupboard, not on the counter with your blow dryer and curling iron. May I suggest that you go lightly in your application of the Design perfume. Better to have people walk by you and almost pick up your scent than get knocked out by it. It really isn't considerate to wear your perfume or cologne in large amounts, and can be quite off-putting to many people. So, to be on the safe side, go light! Someone can always get a little closer if appropriate. I absolutely love the Design perfume. It is one of two or three perfumes I wear all the time, and never tire of. I generally wear the perfume or cologne on top of the matching lotion. I sometimes have allergies to it, so when that occurs, I skip the lotion and just use the spray cologne where it seems to cause the least problems (for instance the wrists, or behind my ears).
