Diesel
Plus Plus Cologne
"The
Diesel plus plus cologne indulges the senses with sumptuous
silk tree flower, voluptuous night queen flower, and
luscious bourbon vanilla combined with sandalwood and
tonka bean to evoke a feeling of passion in the woman
who wears it. Notes include Silk Tree Flower, Mandarin
Leaf, Orange Blossom, Night Queen Flower, Bulgarian
Rose, Bourbon Vanilla Absolute, Mysore Sandalwood, Tonka
Bean." In any case, it's the nectar and ambrosia
of the Diesel plus plus cologne. It's like Gio but so
much sexier. It's like Gio without the gardenia. Ohh,
it's insane.
I bought the May 2003 issue of Jane magazine. I was
leafing through it when I saw the ad for the Diesel
plus plus cologne. It had that little glued flap that
lets you preview the cologne smell. I lifted, leaned
in, breathed in and a shiver actually rippled down my
spine. My eyes widened, my nostrils flared, and I had
to restrain myself from rubbing that page all over my
body. I have never, ever done that with cologne. Most
cologne gives me headaches after a while. The Diesel
plus plus cologne is a little expensive.
The Diesel plus plus cologne is silky, soft, sweet,
sensual, and all-around yummy. It's like Gio and Angel
combined. Bourbon vanilla. Sandalwood. Rose. Nightflower.
Silk. Neroli. Jasmine. I mean, come on; this is the
be-all end-all of seductive, romantic-night fragrances.
It's not strong at all. It's light and sweet and will
not cause sneezing. When I rubbed my wrist across the
paper, the smell didn't change with my body chemistry--in
fact, it took on a slightly chocolate-honey tinge that
would make jealous. It's perfect to wear anywhere, anytime.
Ohh, my gods, please try this. It may not be for everyone,
but it is...oh, I can't even describe it. You've got
twenty bucks, right? Last winter, I attended a class,
and one of the women said that if she could afford perfume,
she would definitely purchase the Diesel plus plus cologne.
Curious, I went to a department store to sample the
perfume. All day, I could not stop smelling my wrist.
It is seriously addicting!
The
Diesel plus plus cologne is very sweet, but not overpoweringly
so. It's sexy, sensual, romantic, sophisticated, and
fun all at once. I must also add that I am extremely
picky about perfumes. I've been sampling perfumes for
years and haven't been able to find any that completely
satisfied me. Most wear off to leave a nasty odor behind.
The others tend to bother me after a while; they're
either too light, too musky, or too "grandmother."
I doubt I could ever get tired of the Diesel plus plus
cologne though. I noticed vanilla the most, a scent
I love but tends to smell terrible on my skin. The Diesel
plus plus cologne continues to smell wonderful though,
and although it is pricey, it is well worth the money.
