Diesel
Plus Plus Perfume
The
fragrance lady at Jone's Store recently gave me several
samples of perfumes. One of these was Diesel plus plus
perfume fragrance for women. I had been trying several
scents while there and my nose was exhausted so she
gave me a small sampler to try later. The Diesel plus
plus perfume has a pleasant fragrance. It starts out
with a slightly alcohol scent which quickly evaporates
and leaves behind the aroma of sweet citrus and tropical
fruits. As the perfume matures, a bit of lily scent
comes out and a little peach and melon aroma, too. What
lasts the longest is a scent of amber and berry.
There is absolutely nothing offensive about the Diesel
plus plus perfume, but neither is there anything to
particularly recommend it. This is a pleasant scent,
but pretty ordinary. While I cannot tell you what other
perfumes I've come across that smell like it, I've smelled
things like this before. The Diesel plus plus perfume
is a good name for this aroma. It is light and fresh,
but in the end, it's just not special. When one considers
the suggested price for a 3.4 ounce Eau de Toilette
is $54 (though you can find it for about $45 if you
shop around), it's just too expensive for what it is.
I
would recommend the Diesel plus plus perfume for young
women or teens. It is a good aroma for daytime wear,
and especially appropriate for spring or summer. This
is it! I've found my new favorite fragrance. I have
been a long time user of the Victoria's Secret Garden
line, (which I'm still a big fan of) but nothing really
compares to the Diesel plus plus perfume. It has notes
of citrus, quince, black currant, pineapple, honeydew,
lotus blossom, water lily, rose, jasmine, muguet, vetiver,
sandalwood, peach, mulberry and amber. The scent is
very fresh & sweet and reminds me of things that
come to mind when you think about summer, like the beach
for example. Cool Water has more of a fruity smell than
a flowery smell, but you can detect both in the fragrance.
It is not a heavy scent at all... very light and clean.
Cool Water Eau de Toilette comes in 2 sizes: 1.7 oz
and 3.4 oz. A body lotion (6.7 oz) and shower gel (6.7
oz) is also available.
