Addict Perfume
This
is the first Dior addict perfume I have ever tried.
I usually use fun floral scents that are very light.
Basically the Dior addict perfume is the exact opposite
of what I have used in the past. The name just says
sophistication. And that is what it will make you feel
like when you wear it. It comes in a simple, kind of
oval shape glass bottle. The Dior addict perfume is
classified as a sharp, oriental, floral fragrance. This
feminine scent possesses a blend of violet, mimosa,
soft sweet spices, and orange flowers. Accompanied by
fruity notes of fresh citrus, melons, peaches, and plums."
This
fragrance is suited for more formal events and special
occasions rather than casual use. The Dior addict perfume
is definitely a "dressy" fragrance. This is
by far the heaviest fragrance I have ever used. It is
extremely feminine, too. When the Dior addict perfume
is first applied, I can smell a musk kind of scent,
although musk is not a note in this particular fragrance.
Within a few seconds I begin to detect a sweet floral
scent. There on after, the scent is sweet and spicy
floral.
Even
though this is a heavier fragrance, it is not even close
to being an "old-lady" kind of fragrance.
I'm only 18 and I absolutely love this fragrance. The
Dior addict perfume lasts a long long time. I can still
smell it after I take a shower. The Dior addict perfume
is available in a 3.4 oz, 1.7 oz, 1 oz, or 1/2 oz EDT.
You can also get this scent in a body lotion or body
cream. Gift sets are available. A 3.4 oz retails at
$75. Ouch. But don't worry. There are many perfume outlets
that carry this for substantially less. Despite the
efforts we go to when picking perfume and worrying about
what will attract a man, it seems as if most men don't
notice whether you're wearing the K-Mart $2 perfume
or the Saks Fifth Avenue $200 perfume.
