Gabbana Cologne
I
am excited about trying the Dolce gabbana cologne. I
was not disappointed. The Dolce gabbana cologne is an
intoxicating scent that I love to wear! The 30ml Dolce
gabbana cologne comes in a vibrant, metallic purple
box (imagine the purple chocolate foil wrapping, well
that's the look) about 3.5 inches in height (about 9.5cm)
and has a white band running centrally through the purple.
On the top of the box the logo is embossed into the
box. There is a solid silver metallic top, which doesn't
come off; you just twist to stop it spraying. Twist
again and then push down on the rubber to spray and
wallah!!! The 'Ultra Violet' name is written vertically
across the metal top. The Dolce gabbana cologne is a
delicious and unique fragrance.
The
"notes" include port wine, cognac, rose, jasmine,
ylang ylang, bergamot, Clementine, pomegranate, white
amber, and chamomile. The Dolce gabbana cologne fragrance
is available in the following sizes/formulas: 1.7 oz
and 3.4 oz Eau de Perfume, .17 oz Portable Perfume,
5.1 oz Opalescent Body Crème, 6.7 oz Sheer Hydrating
Body Gel, and 6.7 oz Skin Renewing Shower Gel. The Dolce
gabbana cologne can be purchased at Sephora, Ulta, and
high-end department stores. Price range at Sephora is
$40-68, depending on product and size. The Dolce gabbana
cologne is packaged in a simple but sophisticated bottle.
It is a clear glass cylinder with the Dolce gabbana
cologne written down the front. To dispense the product,
the silver top swivels to reveal the pump, which can
then be pressed.
I
received the Dolce gabbana cologne as a gift. I swiveled
the top and sprayed some on my wrists and neck. The
swivel top is a clever design, but does feel somewhat
flimsy. Certain fragrances make you feel good when you
wear them. The Dolce gabbana cologne is definitely one
of them. It is exotic and interesting. I would describe
it as floral with an edge. Its fragrance lasts all day
and continues to have a wonderful scent. I have received
compliments from friends and family on this fragrance.
All of the women in my family (from ages 4 ½
to mid-50's) love this fragrance! I would describe it
as a medium fragrance (on a scale of light to heavy)
that is appropriate year round. I never feel overpowered
by it, even when I have applied several sprays. I am
happy to add it to my fragrance collection!
